Objectives

After the development of this project, the following three general objectives have been accomplished:

1. To develop efficient and robust machine hearing techniques for cough episodes detection regardless the environment.
2. To develop a health care system on the basis the aforementioned techniques which is scalable, modular and works in real-time.
3. An efficient implementation of such health care system for Android smartphones which potentially enlarge the number of users.
